Woodlake Spring Inspection in March

by admin - March 19th, 2012

Woodlake Spring Walk inspections will occour during the month of March.  To help you avoid being fined for violation(s) it is important you familiarize yourself with the Woodlake rules and regulations.  A complete list of our rules can be found on the Woodlake Homeowners Association website, www.woodlakeweb.com  The most common violations of Woodlake rules and regulations are:

Garbage collection:
Containers and other items shall not be placed outside for collection any earlier than 7 p.m. of the night prior to pick-up.

Residents are required to use covered garbage containers that are 32-gallons or less in size, weighing less than 60-pounds when filled. The only containers larger than the 32-gallon that will be allowed are the wheeled residential garbage carts that are purchased from the City of Naperville.  (In other words, you are not allowed to use garbage bags.  You must use an approved CONTAINER as listed above)

Storage of garbage/recycling containers in front of your house after garbage collection is prohibited.

Any litter remaining on the ground after garbage pick-up shall be removed by the Homeowner or Tenant.

Holiday Lighting / Decorations:

Christmas holiday lights may remain in place unlit no later than March 1st. Any exceptions must be approved by the Board.

Exterior Maintenance:

Homeowners/Tenants, are responsible for maintaining the exterior of their property so as not to create an “eyesore”. Eyesores include, but are not limited to: peeling paint, warped or rotted wood, missing siding, worn roofs, broken/missing gutters, broken windows, damaged garage doors, deteriorating or discoloring driveways, etc.

Parking:

Parking is prohibited on any sidewalk.

Signs:

While”For Rent or Lease signs are allowed, if they are used, they must be posted in a window. They are not allowed to be posted in a sign on the lawn or parkway.

These listed rules are the most commonly violated and represent only a portion of the total rules and regulations of the Woodlake community. To view a complete list of our rules and the fine procedures, go to our website, www.woodlakeweb.com.
